CC-Lab back at Nokia Isle of Wight Festival
CC-Lab returned to the Isle of Wight for the third year to produce coverage of the Nokia Isle of Wight Festival for Channel 4.
This year Channel 4 increased its commitment, with a 45’ show on Friday, and 90’ shows on Saturday and Sunday of the Festival. The shows were funded by Nokia and Channel 4.
A crew of 75 were on site to capture the atmosphere of the festival, with performances from the Foo Fighters, Prodigy, Coldplay, Editors, Goldfrapp, Richard Ashcroft and Lou Reed.
Performances were shot in High Definition and directed by Matt Askem. Five on site edit suites cut VT packages shot around the festival and compiled the shows for broadcast.
The producers were Celia Blaker and Frank Lampen and executive producers were Jason Hocking and Justin Rees.
