Xbox Campfire Session
Is a hot new music show we are producing, hosted by Nick Grimshaw that will blast away the New Year blues by taking the audience on a trip through what’s white hot now and tipped for the top as 2009 unfolds.
Grimmy has chosen the artists he is into at the moment plus those he thinks will have an exciting year to come. So far these include the Wombats, Twisted Wheel, Noah and the Whale and Little Boots. The line up will perform a mixture of full on electric sets in the cosy comfort of our secret rural barn location, whilst some will also play stripped down acoustic tracks outside around the campfire.
In addition to the live performance, Grimmy will be talking to the artists around the campfire giving us some playful but incisive chat about their experiences in the year gone by together with what’s coming up for them next, plus thoughts on their contempararies and anything else they might like to let us in on.
The show will TX on Channel4 and 4Music in early January.
