CNN International Ad Sales Campaign

CC-Lab worked with marketing consultancy Marinate on CNN International June 2005 ad sales campaign, creating coverwraps and flash website.

Marinate and Frank Lampen had devised a campaign around the theme “1 is a very big number” highlighting the fact that CNN’s European audience has an aggregate income of over $1trillion and the channel is the #1 most watched news channel.

Designer James Chorley created a bold 1 which mimicked the CNN red cable logo.

Alex Torrance created a flash website to house the linked competition.

CNN has received very positive feedback on the campaign from media agencies.
