CC-Lab worked with Marinate and J&B to create a film for a J&B internal conference.

J&B wanted to create an innovative brand experience film to set it apart from other brands for an internal company conference.

CC-Lab’s treatment used photographic sequences edited to music to subvert viewer opinions of Scotch whisky and portray J&B as being an unconventional whisky. It also included references to the brand’s great heritage in movies such as Ocean’s Eleven and Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and as one of the favoured drinks of the Rat Pack. The project was directed and edited by Nick Parish and all post production was carried out in house at CC-Lab. The project was produced by Shilen Patel of Marinate.

The film achieved its objective of setting J&B apart from other brands at the conference.
