2010 saw a fantastic 100,000 hours of volunteering for good causes in Europe and Israel, all courtesy of the RockCorps vision.
The year kicked off in Tel Aviv with RockCorps biggest concert ever as 13,500 volunteers watched Rihannah perform for the first time ever in Israel. We went on to produce events from the Manchester Apollo with Snoop Dogg, Mr Hudson, Vampire Weekend and Tinie Tempah, at Le Dome in Marseilles with Nas, Damain Marley and Sexion D’assaut, at the Albert Hall with Pendulum, Plan B, Mark Ronson, Taio Cruz and N-Dubz and the year went out with a bang as N*E*R*D, Mark Ronson, VV Brown and Sexion D’Assaut blew the roof off Le Zenith in Paris.
In the run up to the events we produced multiple shortform documentaries for broadcast that help build the RockCorps message and generate awareness of the event and the volunteering required to get a ticket. We then shot the live event for broadcast and digital distribution.
After the huge success of the first three years in Europe the RockCorps initiative is expanding and we are most proud to be continuing as part of the RockCorps family as it rolls out its righteous message around the World.
