Bestival 2008
Our fourth year at Bestival needed a totally new battle plan. We’ve been, we’ve seen and we totally conquered… by fucking with the formula.
Little did we know when we pitched our novel approach to all round plaudits that the Big Guy upstairs had a few Bestival novelties of his own planned, testing us all with some properly Old Testament weather.
Bestival is all about good times, colour and frivolity. It takes skill to capture all that whilst wellying through a foot of mud. We had a lot of help in the form of an up for it party crowd, massive sets from Underworld, Amy Winehouse, My Bloody Valentine, Hot Chip and super surprise guest artist Grace Jones. In addition to the main stage performances we shot the acoustic area and moored our interview area aboard a rowing boat in a tent that provided us with some of our most special and unique moments.
We waded on through everything and made two beautiful 60 minute shows for C4 & 4Music and a 30 minute T4 show. Ask us for a DVD.
