Three short films for Channel 4’s The Slot made in conjunction with Saint Etienne
With many of London’s greasy spoon cafés facing closure, CC-Lab and Saint Etienne made a series of documentaries to capture these unique institutions
Today’s Special was three short documentaries for Channel 4’s The Slot. The films depicted some of London’s classic cafes, many of which are now threatened with closure. The films were directed by Paul Kelly and featured an original music score from Saint Etienne and Ian Catt
The films transmitted on Channel 4 in July of 2004.
